Thomas (Tommy) Harris, President
Tommy has lived in Grand County for 14 years. He believes that not only is living minimally and sustainably a moral obligation but, it is also a financially effective solution for all people, businesses, and organizations alike. Tommy has 16 years of building experience that varies from building the largest buildings in the world to a small shed built 90% from re-used materials. He owns his own handyman business called “the Homeowners Friend”, is currently the chair of a committee for the Grand Resource and Recycle Coalition (GRRC), and has been an active environmentalist for 20 years. He brings to the board extensive knowledge of building codes and application and is also knowledgeable of recycling theory application and disposal.
Tommy Chairs the Up-Cycle Program Committee, spearheading efforts to promote green microbusiness in the region, and teaching kids in schools bout ways to create opportunities out of resources otherwise headed for the landfill.

Timothy Hodsdon, Treasurer
Tim is a co-founder of Infinite West. He works with SALTworkshop. Ltd. as an architectural designer and community planner. He has studied Sustainable Building Practices and Planning at Harvard University and The University of Colorado, Denver. His belief in the advancement of healthy and vibrant communities has led him to serve a number of organizations with this mission in mind, as well as to co-found a non-profit sustainable communities action group which is currently involved in projects revolving around Green Building, Solid Waste Resources and Sustainable Development Practices. Tim brings a solid background in the community planning process, and has served on the Citizen’s Advisory Board for the Grand County Master Plan. His belief in a systems approach to social interaction and planning have led to integrated solutions approach, with the big picture in mind, while at the same time cherishing the needs and aspirations of the individual.

Jessica Foley, Secretary
Jessica is a Project Coordinator for Blue Cottage Consulting, where she assists in engaging with the patients and communities they serve. Prior to that, she was a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for Henry Ford Hospital, where she developed and facilitated therapeutic group workshops, activities, and outings for adult patients recovering from traumatic brain and other injuries. She has also applied her passion for space planning and flow to create a year-round preschool where she served as the first director. Jessica also developed a gross-motor movement facility offering adaptive devices and therapeutic equipment for children with special needs, which is now recognized as a resource for the entire community. She is a passionate advocate of health and fitness, Jessica and a sustainable food advocate, committed to helping communities grow and access non-GMO food. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in recreational therapy from Central Michigan University.
